When w were planning this breeding, we wanted to blend the generations of Russian-bred field-titled Borzoi with the unmistakable ring elegance possessed by Mitzka. We were hoping to get such fine details as good pigment, small high-set ears, and tight feet. Both parents had great tail carriages. After doing some extensive pedigree research, we found that some important producers appear more than once on both the Russian and the American side son the pedigree. They are: Eng Fin Ch Keeper’s Michelangelo (UK), Int Ch Polongai Porchai Krasnoje Selo (Holland), Gotz v Silberhof (Germany), as well as littermates Xantoff Wergei and Xakor Wergei (Germany). We feel that the two resulting puppies from this breeding inherited only the best qualities from their parents and this outcross worked well for us. The two resulting puppies had striking looks, confident personalities, and lots of energy.

Roosik’s biggest accomplishments included AOM at the 2004 BCOA Centennial National (180 champions entered), Best Senior Dog in Futurity at the 2000 BCOA National and a group win from classes. He was a multiple Best of Breed winner. Roosik was obedience trained through CDX. Roosik had the crowd-stopping looks. He produced two beautiful litters for us: B Litter B and S Litter.

Tutta was the #1 Producing Dam in 2004. Also, she won SBOS at the 2009 PSBC Show from the 10+ Veteran Class. She was Best Brood Bitch at the 2003 BCOA National Futurity Show. Tutta had 40 ASFA points. She is the dam of all-champion M Litter with all specialty and TSE-winning puppies. Her second litter, T Litter, had four champions. Tutta was Irina’s all-time favorite dog. She was smart, gorgeous, and loyal.
