Phillip was a favorite boy for Ed and Linda Bourne. Linda showed him to Top 10 Borzoi in 2007, gaining several group placements along the way. He was sound and with a nice side gait, full dentition, scissors bite, beautiful straight tail carried low, small high-set ears. Phillip sired two litters for Djinnseeker Borzoi. But most importantly, he held a very special place in his owners’ heart.
Phillip’s accomplishments included:
• Top 10 Borzoi, All Breed System in 2007, with limited showing, always beautifully owner-handled by Linda
• Group Winner
• Multiple group placer
• Best Puppy in Show winner, defeating 278 puppies
• Finished with three majors
• Best of Opposite in Sweeps, TSE, breed specialist Ms. Mary Childs
• 4th in his Futurity Class at the Centennial BCOA National in 2004
