Barbos was always the stand-out in his litter.  He had the solid and correct structure of a functional hound, fantastic open sidegait, soundness and nice breed details, including black pigment, high ear-set, small ears and two black haws.  Barbos made the trip to Ukraine in 2013, when he was just 6 months of age.  He did attend a couple of shows in the United States before his move and had been AKC-pointed.  He gained his Ukrainian championship in just a handful of shows and even won the group as a youngster. Barbos came back to the United States in late 2017.  He moved in with the Firebird Borzoi pack and made himself comfortable there right away.  He got to play with toys, look at all the wonderful birds (pigeons, chickens, ducks) and be best friends with many Borzoi, smooth fox terriers and a Mexican hairless!  He got along with everybody and made everyone laugh!  Barbos’ show career in the United States resumed with a bang — Reserve Winners Dog at the BCOA National Specialty.  He is health tested with all normal results (heart, eyes, thyroid and DM N/N).  He sired a gorgeous litter in Ukraine and a fantastic litter in Russia before coming back and then went on to sire a litter for Oxota Borzoi in New Mexico. He was a dog with a sense of humor and is an extremely smart male, a true character, whom we will always remember and about whom we will always tell many stories. Barbos has touched many lives over his own long life. We are so thankful we were a part of his life journey.

• AOM, 2018 PSBC Specialty, first time shown as a special, breed specialist Anne Midgarden (Teine Borzoi)
•  Finished his American title in five weekends of shows.
• Group winner in Ukraine
• Group One in the Veteran Group at the Boise shows with his primary owner, Corrine Miller
• Champion of Ukraine
• Excellent in the Open Class at the World Dog Show in Helsinki, at just 20 months
• AKC pointed from the 6-9 months puppy class
