“Tochka” means “dot” in Russian, for the little spot she had on the croup. Tochka was funny, sweet, and affectionate. Tochka had floating movement, long sweeting but straight tail, beautiful head, full dentition, scissors bite, perfect ears, and was sound to her last day. She was simply breathtaking on the move and made a lasting impression on many Borzoi fanciers and judges. We always thought Tochka was very special, so when it came time to breed her, we chose the #1 Borzoi MSBIS Am Ch Po Dusham Royalist (Tochka’s brother Merkusha was #2 that year). Tochka’s son, Am Ch Zabava Atlantis was the only puppy in that litter.
